'We booked Historic Workshops for their WWII day. We had 3 classes involved during the day and the timetable worked perfectly. Leigh led a Historic Enquiry session and provided resources for a first aid task and a task related to bomb disposal. All resources were of good quality and really easy for our staff to follow.
The children absolutely loved their day and learnt an awful lot too. We have had many comments from parents saying the visit was excellent and complete value for money.
Leigh certainly knows his stuff and being a teacher he was able to communicate with the children affectively.
If all workshops are of the same quality, which I am sure they will be, we will certainly be using him again. I have already passed on details to our Y3-4 teachers.' Mr Stevens, Deputy Headteacher, Chadsmead Primary Academy, Lichfield.

"Leigh came in to our school to introduce a WWII topic to our cohort of 75 year 5 children. The workshop was fantastic, absolutely loads of artefacts for the children to handle and view including a working air raid siren. Leigh's knowledge was excellent and his experience as a teacher meant that behaviour and pace were all first class. The children loved the mini workshops including operating a stirrup pump, bandaging each other's "war injuries" and a fact hunt activity with all the artefacts. I thoroughly recommend this workshop and would not hesitate in booking Leigh again for future sessions." Mr Matkin, Queen Victoria Primary School.

I enjoyed the WW2 day because I learnt alot about WW2 and got to experience a real-life air raid siren. I liked: touching the artefacts, practising using bandages and stretchers and the warden training. I was surprised to learn that the RAF bombed the Germans far worse than the Germans bombed Britain. Star rating 5/5

My favourite part was listening to the air raid siren as it gave me the feeling of what it would be like to experience this during The Blitz. I would give this workshop a 5 star rating because it was fun and informative.
